App Setup
Turn on the Nova light by pressing the Power Button on the front of the light. The button will glow blue to indicate the battery is turned on. Turn off the light when not in use to preserve the battery life of the device.

If the light turns on and starts blinking rapidly, this means that the light has entered "Pairing Mode". To stop, simply press any button on the Nova Remote.
To charge the light, rest the light on the charging base. The magnetic pogo pin inside the inner shaft of the light will connect with the charger and automatically begin to charge.
To tell if the battery is charging, look at the LED indicator light on the charging block. The light will turn RED when the battery is charging. The light will turn GREEN when the battery has finished charging.

WARNING: When resting on the charging base, do not spin the light around while on the charging base. This may cause the pogo pin to break. Instead, lift off the charging base, rotate, and then set down again.
The remote control will work once the power button on the front of the light has been turned on. The remote features the following:

Over 150' of signal range

On/Off

Adjustable white brightness (hold the buttons down to see quick change)

Set the color to one of 8 pre-set colors

Color changing settings (strobe, flash, and fade)

If the remove is not paired to the light, turn the light on by pressing the power button and then repeatedly press "on" then "off" for up to 30 seconds until the light and remote are synched.
The Nova Light can be paired to an app that offers some additional features:

Color pallet with hundreds of color and saturation options

Synch the lights to music that is playing from your phone

Set a timer to turn the lights off at a specific time

The Reset button can be accessed from the bottom of the light by pressing the button using a thin screwdriver or other tool.

Each Nova Light comes with a pair of "S" hooks that can be used to hang the light horizontally from an elevated position. Some recommended hanging positions include railings, gutters, or pergolas.
